Destination weddings · Ecuador

A destination wedding in Ecuador, fifteen minutes from Quito airport.

Couples travelling from the United States, Canada and Europe come to the Quito valley for one reason: the whole wedding fits inside a single property, planned by a single team. No long vendor list to coordinate across different time zones.

Why Ecuador works for a destination wedding

Quito sits on the equator at high altitude, so the climate stays mild and steady all year, with wetter and drier stretches rather than true seasons. The valley towns of Puembo and Tumbaco sit several hundred metres lower than the city, drier and warmer, which is why almost every wedding venue in the region is concentrated there.

Practically, it also means guests can combine the wedding with the Galápagos, the Amazon or the Andes without a second long-haul flight — many turn the trip into a longer stay.

One team, not a vendor list

We own the venues, run the kitchen, build the furniture and coordinate the day ourselves. For a couple planning from abroad, that is the whole point: one core contract, one core budget and one team managing the wedding production, with a single person answering your messages.

Planning happens over video calls. Menus are agreed from tasting notes and confirmed at a tasting when you arrive. Floor plans, floral direction and the run of show are settled before you land.

The two venues

Villa Fiorenza

A private eucalyptus forest in Puembo with a central clearing for the ceremony. Shaded, intimate, and one of the main reasons couples choose Villa Fiorenza. Up to 250 guests.

Villa Lagos

Open gardens built around a central lake, with a view across the valley. Brighter and larger, built for sunset ceremonies and wide receptions. Up to 300 guests.

Real destination wedding

Frequently asked

How far is the venue from Quito airport?
About fifteen minutes by car. Guests can land and be at the venue before unpacking, which matters when many of your guests are arriving from abroad.
Can we plan the whole thing remotely?
Yes. Most international couples plan entirely over video calls and arrive a few days early. Because everything is in-house, there is one point of contact rather than a long vendor list to manage across time zones.
When is the best time of year?
The valley has a mild climate year round, so we plan every date with a covered plan B. June to September and December are the busiest and book earliest, often ten to twelve months ahead.
What about the legal side of marrying in Ecuador?
A civil marriage can be held at the venue, subject to the Civil Registry's requirements and availability. The legal ceremony is conducted by an authorised Civil Registry official, and we coordinate the logistics of the space for the same day as the reception. Documentation requirements vary by nationality, so always confirm the current rules directly with Ecuador's Civil Registry and your consulate — this is not legal advice.
